Drina is back at sea after completing mainsail repairs in Opua in NZ. She cleared out for Porto Montt in Chile on Monday morning last and has been experiencing light winds since then. Her course and position can be viewed here http://shiptrak.org/?callsign=vj5319&filter=90
The link will auto-update for you each day and the zoom and pan controls are located top left of the map. Hope you enjoy following the adventure as Michael and Alex continue their journey. The plan is to sail a course of about 120 degrees true to reach the windier latitudes, possibly as low as 50 degrees south and then move south or north to avoid the low pressure fronts. They have approximately 5000 NM to go and at about 1000 miles per week the trip will take 5 weeks or so. So it's Christmas at sea for those two. All the best for now PK
